Series:Sumo Padi special edition
Power Reserve: 70 hours
The Seiko Prospex SPB181J1 watch is an extension of the popular “Sumo” series with a new model referring to SEIKO’s partnership with PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). Compared to previous versions, the model comes with a new lunette in “pepsi” colors and the “PADI” logo on the dial.
The Seiko SPB181J1 is one of the diving watches that have enjoyed popularity and a long tradition in the Seiko range, thanks to its features, proven case shape, excellent workmanship and, last but not least, affordability. The watch is powered by an automatic movement 6R35, which features a manual winding, a power reserve of 70 hours and hacking (stopping the seconds hand when setting the time). The watch case and bracelet, with micro-adjustment on the clasp, are made of stainless steel. The clear and easy-to-read dial is protected by a sapphire glass. Readability in low-light conditions is enhanced by the application of luminescence on the hands and indices.
The watch with a case size of 45 mm features a rotating lunette with a diving scale for reading the time spent underwater and a screw-down crown. The 200 m water resistance makes this watch destined for use in water.
