Determined to dive even deeper into the art of ceramic watchmaking, and inspired by the success of 2016’s Planet Ocean “Deep Black”, OMEGA set out to create a combination GMT and divers’ watch fashioned from a single block of blue ceramic.
The 43.5 mm watch sports a black ceramic dial with an orange GMT track. Adding sparkle are hands and indexes in 18K white gold with a white Super-Luminova coating. The black ceramic bezel features a diving scale with Liquid metal numerals. A blend of orange rubber and ceramic covers the first 15 minutes.
The reverse side of this is equally impressive, with its wave-edged screw-in case back, which features a unique OMEGA innovation: a patented ceramic Naiad Lock that keeps the engraved wording pleasingly in position.
Water-resistant to 600 m and able to withstand magnetic forces of up to 15,000 gauss, it is driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer caliber 8906 and backed by a 2-year warranty.
The black canvas strap with orange stitching and orange edges has been designed to give the appearance of being fabric. It is treated with an anti-bacterial coating, features a wave pattern on the underside and is held to the wrist by a fold over clasp.

As part of the Five Deeps Expedition in 2019, the Ultra Deep made history when it reached the deepest place on Earth. Following that World Record dive, the game-changing watch has now been adapted for a unique collection available to the public. Tested in real ocean conditions during its development, the design is water-resistant to 6,000 metres (20,000 ft.) and meets the ISO 6425:2018 standard for saturation divers’ watches.
This 45.5 mm model in robust O-MEGA STEEL features a polished orange ceramic bezel with its diving scale in liquid ceramic and Super-Lumi nova. Through the protuberant and domed sapphire crystal, the lacquered gradient dial transitions from grey to black, and has been given four Arabic numerals in orange, as well as 18 K white gold hands and hour markers, which are all coated with white Super-Lumi Nova.
The watch is set on an O-MEGA STEEL bracelet with OMEGA’s patented extendable fold over rack-and-pusher with complementary length adjustment and extra diver extension, while on the case back’s Grade 5 titanium medallion, there is a laser-engraved Sonar emblem with the iconic OMEGA Seahorse at its center. Inside, the watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8912.

It presents the time clearly on a white ceramic dial with applied Arabic numerals in orange and a date window at the 3 o’clock position. Surrounding this three-handed date dial is a vivid orange ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel for effortless measuring of elapsed time underwater. Simply align the bezel with the minute hand to keep on track of remaining underwater time. The dial has been skeletonised to reveal its blackened movement, which has been laser-ablated to represent the lunar surface.
The near side can be viewed through the dial & features a landscape full of craters to represent our view of the moon’s surface from Earth.
The far side can be viewed through the case-back which represents the dark side of the moon that only astronauts get to see.
The case back is engraved with APOLLO 8, DEC 1968, DARK SIDE OF THE MOON & “WE’LL SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE” which were astronoaunts’ Jim Lovell’s final words spoken to ground control just before the Apollo 8 traveled to the far side of the moon.
