Desco von Schulthess, founded in 1889, Zurich, launched its first series of watch models under the name Maurice Lacroix in 1975. Since then, the brand has been recognized for many awards, celebrating innovation, creativity and craftsmanship.
Having never moved from their base in Saignelégier, Switzerland, Maurice Lacroix then in 1898 acquired a case manufacturer, giving them the ability to produce watch-cases in-house.
Its high-quality movements and production of intricate components for mechanical calibres propelled Maurice Lacroix into an exclusive club of Swiss watch manufacturers after the launch of their first in-house manufactured mechanical calibre ML-106 in 2006.
