In 1992, Rolex introduced a nautical watch named the Yacht-Master. However, unlike the Submariner, the Yacht-Master was not a tool watch for diving but a luxury watch for boating. More specifically, it was made for yachting so it had to have a luxurious but sportive look. As many say, Rolex achieved this by adjusting a Submariner; bigger hands, bigger markers, smoother edges and a solid bezel with an engraved inlay. The first reference was the 16628, an 18 k yellow-gold wrist watch with a case diameter of 40 mm, a white dial, black hour markers and the caliber 3135 (as was used for the Submariner and Sea-Dweller). In 1994, Rolex introduced a midsize and lady size version. In 1999 the brand presented the steel/platinum version (ref. 16622), which instantly became a success.

As a Bespoke Manufacture, we specialize in high-end composite materials, however, its combination with traditional noble metals and gems allows us to craft pieces rarely ever seen before. The best part of the manufacturing process, is the idea and design. What many years ago was believed to be impossible, it is now achievable. One of the most important properties of carbon fiber is its weight. Thanks to the incredible thin layers of carbon, the weight is over 5 times less than stainless steel. Moreover, carbon fiber is incredible resistant as well. We aimed into the creation of a high-end timepiece the should be wearable, light and reliable. The Art of customization taken into a new level.

In 1992, Rolex introduced a nautical watch named the Yacht-Master. However, unlike the Submariner, the Yacht-Master was not a tool watch for diving but a luxury watch for boating. More specifically, it was made for yachting so it had to have a luxurious but sportive look. As many say, Rolex achieved this by adjusting a Submariner; bigger hands, bigger markers, smoother edges and a solid bezel with an engraved inlay. The first reference was the 16628, an 18 k yellow-gold wrist watch with a case diameter of 40 mm, a white dial, black hour markers and the caliber 3135 (as was used for the Submariner and Sea-Dweller). In 1994, Rolex introduced a midsize and lady size version. In 1999 the brand presented the steel/platinum version (ref. 16622), which instantly became a success.
